I’d consider it a fib lmao. It’s on the shortlist for this week! My wife was not feeling it Sunday so I made homemade pasta and we watched The Birdcage and Mrs. Doubtfire.
Evil Dead Burn was fucking sick. I was also surprised at how funny it was considering some of what I'd seen people saying beforehand.
saw the trailer for the new Insidious before The Invite and there was a couple of "nope, absolutely not" moments in that trailer for me lmao
hate having to see the jumpscare trailers every time I see a horror movie lol, like I know i'm not watching evil dead burn or insiduous
I usually don't go see anything with a jump scare in the trailer. The only exception I can think of is probably Smile, which actually turned out to be pretty darn good, its sequel even more so
also the stuff in the insidious trailer wasn't really jump scarey, that doesn't bother me at all. it was just creepy, which also doesn't bother me but I do have a physical reaction to it lmao
tbf i don't watch the horror IP "slop" stuff anyways. only calling it slop because it feels like we get these movies every year.
I don't watch Conjuring/Insidious either but I think it's a little unfair to call those slop when stuff like the Winnie the Pooh horror movie exist
i couldn't think of a better word tbh. it just feels like the call of duty/madden model but with movies.
