Fuck. Been meaning to rewatch Possession for a minute and this is as good a reason as any.

Agree on his legend status and In the Mouth of Madness is an underseen Carpenter classic that I'd recommend to the whole thread

like any Flanagan adaptation of King, i'm approaching this with (very) cautious optimism. don't know if i'm 100% sold on another Carrie remake just yet, but i have more trust in him than i don't. Samantha Sloyan as Margaret is a good choice.

 

De Palma nailed it the first time. I have no need for any more Carries in this lifetime.

 

Just when you thought horror reboot concepts couldn't get lazier, now they're not even bothering with new scripts!

 

Let me guess, the adapting bit will just be updating the technology used in the film and some phrases, the end.
