Evil Dead Burn was a really fun time. Pretty mean as expected. Didn’t love the animal harm <—tw The camera work really stands out in this one, a lot of cool shots throughout. The CGI at the end was bad lol. Very curious to see how people feel about the post-credits scene, I think I’m on board with it
Joe Bob's Savage Summer tonight. Gonna be a rough one. Movies are I Spit on Your Grave (OG) and Tokyo Gore Police
Looking for some recs for the weekend. My wife could go into labor any minute with our twins, so we won’t be leaving the sofa! Anyways..we’re in the mood for something with loads of atmosphere. Post em if ya got em!
If y'all want horror w/twins, I'd rec Goodnight Mommy. Also, The Shining but that's prob too obvious. Congrats on the upcoming family additions!!
...should I rec some preggo body horror or would that be too on the nose? killing demon babies might be too triggering, if so please disregard First Omen Immaculate Azrael Probably good for after the twins are safely been borned
Depends on the atmosphere you're looking for, but outside of like Alien and obvious Eggars recs: Suspiria (1977), The Mothman Prophecies, Carnival of Souls (1962)...
Bought this old, used book on dinosaur movies from one of those eBay bookseller superstores. Opened it up and a signed photo of Doug Bradley in Pinhead makeup fell out. Then I turned a page and it was signed by Ray Harryhausen. Both were personalized, but I couldn’t believe it. Best six bucks I ever spent!
I Spit On Your Grave (1978) is definitely sporadically effective, for better or worse, but also kind of a fucking stinker. Hoping to have a better time with Tokyo Gore Police
