maybe it's because I had moved to a new city that same day, was in the cinema literally two hours after stepping off the plane but Beau had my fight or flight going off for 3 hours straight. if Eddington is more anxiety inducing than that... don't know if i'm gonna rush out to see that lol
I cant stop thinking about Beau is Afraid. As someone with pretty bad anxiety alot of the scenes got me good.
I really liked Beau on first watch and then I couldn't stop thinking about how I'd never seen anything quite like it and had to see it a second time with friends in theaters and that's what cemented it as an all-time for me. Weirdly find it being a comfort movie for me at this point, but that also happens to me with a lot of long watches.
Getting ready to do “Summer Camp” horror trivia in Salem this week, and Stage Fright and the Burning are on the list. I was pretty pumped about Stage Fright, because I’d been meaning to check it out for a while, but about halfway through I realized this had nothing to do with summer camp. I was supposed to be watching Stage Fright from 2014. All good though, it was definitely one of the better slashers I’ve seen and I’ll probably have it in the rotation for my Halloween party this year. The Burning was decent, as well! Fun to see so many recognizable actors in that one.
Trick or Treat with Reed Richmond was exactly what I expected (complimentary) lol. Put me in the mood to watch some old Halloween special/commercial comps and whatnot. Obviously supplemental material to the WNUF universe, but will be perfect October viewing.
Currently sat for a free early screening of Together. Very pumped for this one. I’ll likely post spoilered thoughts in the movie thread.
Growing up I just did the mental math of Jack being short for Jonathan, and assumed that was why he said Johnny. Kind of blew my mind when I learned the truth, haha.
Wait now the reddit is saying it's the Pete Davidson movie I'm already here so I'll cancel my reservation and see what else I can watch
