I tried showing this to my friends in college and they all got up and went somewhere else after like 20 minutes lol
Wrapped up all the Scary Movies last night in anticipation of 6 this week. 5 was such a struggle and I almost tapped out multiple times.
Spider Baby is such a wild 60s midpoint between like... House on Haunted Hill and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Very good stuff. Also, Infinity Pool still rips.
I'm sure I knew this, I don't know why I asked, please ignore me lol Currently rewatching The Brood, which is very likely still my favorite Cronenberg.
No it's all good haha In retrospect it does seem like I was framing it in such a way to make it seem like it's my first time doing a F13 marathon. I've seen them all many many times though.
Speaking of which, I am gonna try and refine my ranking of the F13 movies after this go-round and see if I surprise myself in any way. The original is such an ultimate comfort watch for me. I could watch Ralph biking away or Pamela Voorhees falling down/over on a loop and be happy as a clam though so
Backrooms was pretty cool but it lost me a bit with the evil corporation thing. I think I would have preferred if things were left more ambiguous. really cool stuff going on throughout the film though!
It's a total mashup of The Terminator and Alien and it really falls apart in the end but man it's got some awesome practical effects. Also, JLC and Donald Sutherland!
Halfway through Hokum. Very cool. My only thought at this point.. Is there a reason why my man doesn’t throw a chair through the window to escape? I’ll take the broken legs, man.
I was looking for solid structure, but all I saw was draping. Boards would certainly, seal the deal, though..
