my showtime starts in half an hour! i've only seen a single teaser for this (i wanna say when we saw Send Help), so i'm going in as blind as possible.
Watching Black Sabbath and this first segment is great. This is my first Bava and it is not what I expected so far.
I Love Boosters isn't horror but y'all will love this shit. So much fun and also so fucking weird lmfao
Black Sabbath was so good. Definitely recommend putting it on your Halloween watch lists! Very fun and cozy with great cinematography and visuals. Also spooky. One of the better horror anthologies I’ve seen.
Jennifer’s Body was fun. I hate Diablo Cody’s dumbass dialogue so I am not ready to say this is a misunderstood masterpiece or anything, but it was a solid watch. Megan Fox is excellent in it, really surprised me with her performance.
i simultaneously had a blast but also feel unwell. much funnier than i expected too. only big complaint is that it takes a while to get going, but when it goes off the rails, it does so in a way i ultimately like
Seeing the box office success of Obsession and now Backrooms so far.. the new Scary Movie film could potentially be a massive hit as well!
About 30 at our showing of A Bucket of Blood last night, which is only five off from the turnout of our first screening. (Not bad considering it was outdoors and 55 degrees by the end of the night.) Five-star film. Onto The Old Dark House this month for Pride. Currently watching Spider Baby.
damn, Backrooms is indeed doing really well. i mean, i'm looking forward to seeing it and i'm glad horror is doing so well. but I Love Boosters was so good, i wish more ppl gave it a chance on another note, Obsession is somehow making more each week, which is fucking insane. this movie got legs for days. wait no, i think i'm getting my idioms mixed up
Yeah, I might see it again when it comes out here but I don't expect to wait until October to see it haha. There's a bunch of films these days that come out online before I ever get the chance to see them in the cinema.
