They might be bored and it would definitely freak me the fuck out at that age, but in terms of content, nothing crazy other than language.
This should have been done in 2024 (and maybe we did?) but for shits and giggles, I just looked at what my top five horror films of the decade would be so far and came up with this: 1. I Saw the TV Glow 2. Skinamarink 3. 28 Years Later 4. NOPE 5. Weapons ...with Pearl just outside at number 6.
Trying to be very strategic with which showing of Backrooms I go to. Even 11PM screenings are like mostly booked around me, which is nuts.
i feel like going to see something today but i don't know what. MK2 only has showings after 7pm and my parents don't like me being out late alone (as a trans woman) so i try to avoid it (unless i'm going to a concert or something); it's probably only doing that because MandoGrogu took up so many screens (and will likely stay on those screens longer than everything else). i wanna prioritize Is God Is and I Love Boosters because i feel like i don't support black creatives consistently enough. but i do also wanna support Backrooms, a horror directorial debut. so idk. maybe i should roll dice or something. tho i'd probably choose Backrooms if i for sure knew i'd be getting the trailer for Jane's next film.
i've never heard of that. looks like a midwest thing. nah, what we have here is three AMCs within a three block radius.
Backrooms was a very solid time. probably could've used a little more in the way of plot, but Parsons did a great job for a debut. @xkaylinh unfortunately no TSADACM trailer. i doubt they'll have one attached to Obsession when i see it later, but who knows.
Trailers Verity (Anne!) Spidey (Tom! I've seen this Wild Horse trailer Nine fucking times Odyssey (Anne AND Tom!) Girls like Girlsssssss Idiots Mazda commercial Hope Leviticus
trailers during my Backrooms showing: Verity Disclosure Day Jackass: Best and Last Scary Movie Evil Dead Burn Ice Cream Man The Death of Robin Hood Allstate ad Primetime Onslaught Ice Cream Man looks like shit (but what else do you expect from a hardcore Zionist?), The Death of Robin Hood looks boring, and i'm not a huge Scary Movie fan, but the rest looked decent to intriguing
