Jason Takes Manhattan is better than The Exorcist edit: kidding. maybe? I don't know. But A Nightmare on Elm Street might sincerely be at least as good.
No doubt any studio might have producers specifically added to mentor a young director as Mark mentioned but also do these people not realize how many videos in the same universe Kane Pixels has made over the last five years?
And those videos are really incredible when you consider how old Kane was when he started making them. Insanely talented on a number of levels.
Need to see Obsession, waiting for a chance to catch it with the missus. Curious about Backrooms, mostly concerned it's not gonna earn that runtime.
Early afternoon screenings are my bread and butter. I do love the occasional late night showing too, especially if the movie calls for it.
I saw Keeper at 8:30am and called the theater to asked if they served coffee lol. They said they didn't but that I could bring the rules and bring my own since they absolutely should Prime movie time for me is like 5pm because I get out of work at 4:30 and it's typically just me in the theater, maybe one or two others. We are seeing Backrooms on Friday at 7:30pm and I'm afraid it's gonna be packed (ironically)
Fit in a lot of good shit in over the four-day weekend: - Faces of Death (2026) - Cuddly Toys - Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie (not horror obvi) - Ready or Not 2 - They Will Kill You - Lost Highway - Delirium (I've got about 40 minutes left) Cuddly Toys was great and I wish there was more out there like it. Lost Highway gets unsettling as hell and might be my favorite Lynch (as someone who is still learning to like/love a lot of his work).
yeah the 5-6 showtime is my go to now, usually not too crowded and don't usually deal with riff raff at that time. later showings at night bring out the crazy people that wanna talk and text the entire movie.
