  7. Some combination of Trick or Treat with Reed Richmond, Halloween H20, Barbarian, and Humane tonight - not sure what I'm in the mood for, exactly.

last minute decided to get a ticket for Last Summer today. Sunday horror let's go

  10. H2O is like the quickest 85 minutes of all-time and the killing doesn't even start until the last half hour lol. I don't dislike this one as much as I used to, but I still find it to be kind of bland. Serviceable for sure, but not super substantial or exciting.

  11. I also feel like whether people liked the direction or not, they did a much better version of fleshing out Laurie Strode 's life story post-OG film in the 2018 sequel.

new IKWYDLS is like the most generic teen slasher for 90 minutes and then it just goes wild in the last 20, kinda loved it

that double killer reveal was way more Scream coded than anything else, I bet some people are hating it but it's nice to see one of these legacyquels actually do something interesting with one of the original characters. also that dream sequence with SMG was amazing, I was so happy

I’ve been avoiding all trailers / clips after that first teaser

Opus was kinda fun but pretty meh for me. A lot of flash over substance but I really was invested for the first half. Kinda falls apart in the second half with some really weird creative decisions and I just don’t think the impact is really felt at the end. Loved the premise though and god I loved seeing John Malkovich dance around like a freak

    FINALLY starting Beau is Afraid

  18. Someone who didn't like Beau is Afraid said they also didn't like Eddington. I'll give it a shot, but I'm beginning to think I'm not an Ari Aster fan, I'm just a Midsommar fan. Same with Ex Machina/Annihilation and The Blackcoat's Daughter

    Did you do Hereditary?

  21. ironically, that's what got me into horror in the first place, what sparked an interest where in the past there was hardly any, but it's so traumatizing i haven't been able to rewatch it. so, while i wouldn't say i like it, i do think it's good.

First time I watched Midsommar was on a plane and I kept having to cover up my phone screen so people didn’t think I was a weirdo
