Jack-o is the cozy DTV vibe I was looking for tonight. I really want to see the DVD commentary since it sounds wild.
Having some friends over for Jacob's Ladder tonight, one of my favorites. We watched The Cell last weekend, which I had the DVD cover memorized from the rental store whenever I was a kid, but never got around to. Really insane dream logic and visuals in that one. D'onofrio is an incredible character actor
yup! Kinda feels like an adult goosebumps, but has Linnea Quigley tho! Would be perfect for an October watch.
Damn I knew I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer was going to direct-to-video bad, but the decision to make it take place in the mountains of Colorado is bonkers. What's a fisherman doing up there? I guess that's where they could afford to shoot. Making him a supernatural monster was kinda fun and also made no sense.
I'm not going into the thread on here but I'm seeing some Eddington thoughts on Twitter/Letterboxd and it's killing me. I want to see it so bad.
It rocks. Not really horror, but Aster continues to make very weird and wild films. If you liked Beau, you'll like this.
seeing very mixed reviews for it I think he's a filmmaker I enjoy one film from and I don't even know that I care to watch more of his films at this point
Him has a great premise, but really tricky execution. I'm afraid it might be too serious but have high hopes.
