Hokum was really fun. Probably a few too many ideas the rabbit stuff and mom backstory was creepy, but I wish it tied in more directly. Loved the witch, more witch!! I liked it more than Oddity, he definitely has a vibe and builds great tension.
My son is having his friend bday party today and parents of the kids will be hanging out. I don’t know if my collection is going to go over too well, might have to shift some stuff to a back row.
I watched Undertone yesterday. My son just now, apropos of nothing whatsoever (as in I don’t think I’ve literally ever heard this come out of his mouth), started singing “Ba Ba Black Sheep”. I’m pretty sure I’ve let in Abyzou.

Still not sure on how I feel about the visual quality of TFTC on Shudder yet but it’s nice it’s finally on streaming regardless. Stoked for all the people watching it for the first time through Shudder, it’s a fun damn show.
Hokum was great. A bit too many plotlines going on, but overall it really worked for me. Adam Scott + tension + creepy vibes = something i love lol. A couple scenes got me. This lady a couple seats over like fucking screamed at the first scare and it was funny. Like super loud. but just the once
Honestly love that they’re releasing TFTC one season at a time too. Allows me to work through it slowly and not feel overwhelmed with how much there is
I think all you Hokum heads should play The Seance at Blake Manor because it also takes place in an Irish hotel leading up to Halloween.
it’s far from my favorite game (I finished it but only after forcing myself) but the vibe is good and I have found myself thinking about it a lot since seeing Hokum haha
What’s up with the visual quality? Was thinking about resubbing to watch since I always loved the intros as a kid but never really remember the actual show. Wondering if I’d be better off buying the DVD box set that’s pretty cheap.
