trying to see more horror in theatres this year so looking forward to that one. undertone tomorrow night

 

I should try to catch Undertone this weekend.

Didn't realize Dolly was out...between that and the Joe Bob finale, I'll have a lot to catch up on this weekend.

 

Just picked up Cronenberg's Clinical Trials from the library. Can't wait to crack it open.

 

Damn, I didn't know about this. Looks awesome

 

The photography is beautiful. I will probably wind up buying a copy.

Still no Camp Miasma

Good Luck Have Fun Don't Die is pretty good. Like a handful of potential Black Mirror episode ideas rolled into a two hour movie. A messier, more ambitious entry into the growing list of anti-ai films we've been getting recently. Not all of it works for me, but when it does, it's one hell of a fun ride. Dark and silly in equal measure

 

Dolly was pretty good. As a wrestling fan it was cool to find out Max the Impaler played Dolly

 

How bad is it wrt gore? Terrifier/In a Violent Nature bad?

 

Not on that level but a few things might make you look away

 

might go see undertone friday since i have it off. work "wellness" day. whatever, i'll take it

Think I'm gonna bite and hit Undertone today after work

 

I want to see it in Dolby but it’s only showing in Dolby once a night, at 10:30pm. I booked a seat for tomorrow night but it’s unlikely that I’ll go, especially because I want to see Hoppers Saturday morning.

 

A lot of the marketing doing the Longlegs thing is making me roll my eyes a bit but it does look very, very good and I'm excited. A friend who caught an early screening described the vibe as Sinister-inspired with a fair bit of Skinamarink and you know that has me intrigued

 

if I like it as much as Longlegs I'll be a happy camper

 

No chance Iike it as much as Skinamarink but I'm not expecting to lol just looking for a nice addition to the analog horror-adjacent stuff we've been getting more of lately. Definitely seems up my alley.
