This movie fucking rocks. G&R does a great pod on it, too.

Pretty awesome that Dolly was filmed here in Chattanooga.

The Eyes of My Mother was cool. Ultimately I felt like there wasn’t a ton there, which made it feel longer than it was, but I loved the aesthetic and I feel like I’m gonna have some of the imagery in my head for a long time.

Gonna give Red Tide Moon a shot next.

it was okay, would have been better if they leaned into the B movie vibes a lot more.

The Eyes of my Mother really stuck with me. I don’t think I ever watched it again after the first time

  17. Unfortunately missed TLDI on Friday but will be catching up this weekend. Been watching that SOV mall security X-Files show I got from VHShitfest instead. No thoughts, just real security guards fighting practical effects creatures for cable access television.

    That sounds great.

Haven't watched much horror lately, but I have a ticket for the Bride tomorrow night.

Well.. caught a case of norovirus from work yesterday.. but today was 68 degrees, so I grabbed my 2005 portable dvd player and watched The Crazies remake on my back patio. 2nd fav day of 2026.

Love Scream 2.. but I do like him way more as the protagonist, so this just works.

  25. I love Olyphant and forgot he was in The Crazies. I think I've only seen the remake once.
