In case anyone was in doubt… The Strangers Chapter 3 was even worse than the first two. Absolute cinema.

I kind of want to watch Chapters 2 & 3 as someone who didn’t hate the first movie as much as I thought I would, but I also don’t gave the desire to waste 3 hours of my life to movies which such awful reviews lol

Yall horror heroes. There’s no chance in hell I’m waisting a minute of my life on this trilogy…and I’ve enjoyed some BAD horror.

  4. I thought Chapter 1 was a perfectly okay/unremarkable ?movies and the horrific reviews honestly have me curious about the other two for sure. I could always catch it after Send Help on Tuesday if I crammed Chapter 2 in one of these nights

  5. I know it's not horror and just genre stuff, but Big z trouble in Little China is just so fun man. Carpenter's best run is heralded for a reason - no one crafts an atmosphere like him.

    Up next, Blood Diner.

Sometimes I feel lonely, other times I check Letterboxd and see two IRL friends also have 964 Pinocchio on their watchlist, so we virtually watched it together. Wild movie, although every scene drags on for way longer than necessary.

Exactly how I felt about Chapter 1. Like I’ve seen way worse. It was totally unnecessary, uninspired and lazy, but I was expecting way worse based on the reviews. I feel like the other 2 chapters are similar based on the reviews is why it gets bad reviews for being redundantly unremarkable.

I finally saw the bone temple. The first part was rough for me. Just cause it was brutal and I didn't know where it was all going but the second half was so perfect and immaculate to me it made it all worth it and I'm so hyped

Send Help was a damn good time at the movies

  10. Wow...Blood Diner is truly one for the sickos lol it really feels like Blood Feast (already a banger) through the lens of Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. Feels like it was written by aliens. Nude aerobics, a wrestler names Jimmy Hitler, and deep fryer kills. Herschel Gordon Lewis would be proud. I have the blu-ray, but I'm pretty sure it's on Tubi rn. Recommending if you like totally out-there 80s slapstick horror

  14. Follow-up - I know nothing about Markiplier or the video game Iron Lung. Anyone know if the movie is worth checking out?

Will probably hold off on Whistle, just because it's coming to Shudder.

heard it's technically well-crafted, but a bit of a slog at times. i don't care about Markiplier, so i have no desire to see it though.

I’m all in on Flanagan doing The Mist. The 2007 version is pretty underrated in my opinion.
