Jfc, that third act of 28 Years Later made me tear up all over again. One of the most beautiful/emotional sequences I've ever seen in a horror film, no joke "There are many kinds of death. Some are better than others. The best kind is peaceful, when we get to leave others in love."
rewatching Years, i forgot Anya Taylor Joy Aaron Taylor Johnson is in this, i mean, i don't recognize him with the facial hair haha
Very excited for you guys I’m rewatching Years right now and it’s honestly even better now that I’ve seen Bone. Definitely gonna have to catch Bone again sometime this week or next weekend.
Bone Temple was, unsurprisingly, great. Think I prefer Days and the emotional highs of Years, but there are still some all-timer performances and sequences, so I'm really splitting hairs. Really cool how esoteric it was.
Moon Garden (2022) is one of the coolest-looking indie flicks I've ever seen. It feels like Del Toro made a Silent still film in the vein of Mad God. If any of the appeals to you, I highly recommend checking it out on Shudder
we watched Arcadian tonight. I respect the insanity of those creature designs and want a hit of whatever the designers were smoking to come up with those, but it was an awkward fit with the extremely predictable plot/character relationships and Cage sleepwalking through his lines. thoroughly okay movie for me
Missed the first few trailers Send help Disclosure day The Bride! Undertone Prime ad Scarlet Clika New preroll. Join stubs ...Old preroll? Laser at AMC Old Coke ad Short Nicole Kidman
wanted to enjoy this movie more than I did but the shaky camera ruined it for me, it made me seasick lol
Still prefer Years but it's like, I love Isla as much as I hate Jimmy Prime, so there's something to be said about how they're sort of set up to be foils of each other, like two companion films, portraying two types of crazy, two types of cancer, at the end of the world. not really a criticism but the shirt removal was really pushing it as far as personal boundaries wrt gore excited to see where the third film goes for sure
oh yeah it was like they blew all their budget on Cage and didn't have enough left over for a tripod or a steadicam, that was rough
Someone gagged in our theater during the "charity" scene in Bone Temple lol, I think the only other time I heard that was when I saw Saw X
The Satanic Slasher Is Coming for Georgina Campbell on ‘Psycho Killer’ Poster Utterly shocked to not hear some slowed down remix of talking heads in that trailer
