idk how a monkey can be more scary than in Nope. More violent definitely but that's not really what that scene is trying to do

 

Hahaha, I meant monkeys in general catching a bad rep. Everything in the trailer looks CG to me tbh

 

That's not counting the monkey from The Monkey, which to me falls more under the dolls category and freaks me the fuck out

 

My understanding is primate uses a high amount of practical effects
