I personally thought it was a beautiful movie. Sure the dialogue and some of violence is dark, but I could listen to the cast chew it up for hours. It wasn’t that bleak to me.
Also, just wanted to ask those who’ve seen it. Spoilers below. What’s everyone’s interpretation of the end? Do you think Pete get shot after killing the Major or do you think he died prior to Garretty surrendering and the Major stuff was all in honor of Garretty in the afterlife?
I just realized that the new Deathstalker is directed by the Psycho Goreman guy. Has anyone watched it? Any good?
Red Spirit Lake might be one of the craziest SOV films I've ever seen. Somehow giving feminist and fetish film vibes while featuring an alien abduction perceived as an encounter with angels and an explicit jack-off/cumshot scene lol. Legitimately feels like an ultra-sleazy, homemade version of Twin Peaks or something
It's A LOT - truly insane lol, a lot of sex and nudity and SA (going both ways) so be prepared for that, but also whips ass.
Love how wild they’re going with the violence, wish I didn’t even watch the trailer though I’m currently rewriting my office building horror movie, and that has a flaming ax in the final scene! Fuck, might have to get something else.
Stoked for some good Horror in the theater this month. Between Primate, Return to Silent Hill, Send Help and 28 Years later it’s a much busier January than normal.
