With this and the Welcome to Derry s1 finale both happening yesterday, last night was kinda tough as a fan of King adaptations. I think I saw someone post King tweeting about his death, so sad.
(just to clarify, Welcome to Derry is good, just emotionally hard to watch at times, and now we have to wait for the next season)
Terror Vision secret title arrived. Very cool, this has been on my watchlist for forever and was one of the reasons I chose my particular Gore-Us category this year so I'd finally have an excuse to watch it. I didn't actually expect a movie that I had heard of before.
Considering catching Silent Night, Deadly Night tomorrow morning before Avatar. I have a floating holiday at work that I need to use in the next week.
OG is definitely more of a dark, gritty, straightforward Christmas slasher, but also campy. I love it. The sequel is SUPER camp and pretty much recaps all of the kills/highlights of the first film with a more insane character/dialogue lol.
SNDN 2 is such a fun, dumb watch. The fact that it COMPLETELY recaps the first movie is astonishing and then layers on the camp of the interrogation and further murders. A+, no notes!
Sndn 2 is fun and half new and half old since the original one got pulled from theaters initially following complaints and they decided fuck it let’s try again now lol
SNDN2, along with The Room, was my introduction to trash cinema and one of the first examples of like a viral youtube clip from a bad movie. It's a fun one, haven't seen it in forever.
Everyone should watch Silent Night, Deadly Night 4: Initiation insane, awesome standalone flick that has next to nothing to do with Christmas or the franchise lol
On one hand, you have an indie film that could use your dollars. The other, you have a stone cold classic. The way I see it: go for the former. There will be future Shining screenings.
Hmm on the one hand I just watched Welcome to Derry and It Chapter One so I'm sorta on a King kick. On the other, I've already seen The Shining in theaters, and I have it at home
SNDN if you've already caught The Shining in theaters once imo but I also haven't seen SNDN yet and would opt for The Shining since I haven't seen it in theaters, lol
I went to eat and missed most of the... Trailers before SNDN: We Bury the Dead Good Luck Have Fun Don't Die
