I didn't expect to like the show as much as I do. It navigates racial issues with the black and native American characters really well too imo. But yeah that first episode is nuts
I'm all caught up now and yeah the racial issues have been handled pretty well thus far. Also worth mentioning that I'm just as invested in the kids storyline as I am the adults, they've gathered quite the talented handful of young performers
Wouldn’t call FNAF 2 good per se (better than the first at least) but the Jim Henson Creature Shop killed it with the puppets/animatronics. Respect for that
I watched the OG Black Christmas this weekend. A couple of my friends had never seen it so I made them watch it with me. Sooo good.
I'm sad that I haven't been in the Christmas spirit as much this year, at least regard my usual holiday horror list. I will have to cram some things in the next couple of weeks.
Trying to think of what else I need to watch before I make a favorites of the year list. Do I need to watch Horror in the High Desert 2 and 3 before the new one?
We should do a ranked list aggregated by poster score. With a score out of ten for each new horror movie this year, organized by average. Then we could make a comprehensive list that doesn’t have a bias against lesser seen movies.
We can go that route if that's what people want - would rank our list by average scores in this thread as opposed to placement in a top 10. Just takes a little longer to aggregate because it would require each person to list every horror movie they watched from this year with a score. Would skew results differently in the sense that if only one person has seen a movie but gives it a 10, it's going to be pretty high on our collective list
Terror Vision secret title starting to show up for people. Mine just shipped. It's Dark Harvest 1992. SOV Killer scarecrow flick. Pretty dope, been on my watchlist for a while.
I have not seen any of those films. Are they worth it if I already know the twist at the end of the first one?
Checked out All the Creatures Were Stirring from 2018. Low budget anthology Christmas movie. Had some familiar faces in it like Jocelin Donahue and Constance Wu. Pretty fun watch, some segments felt like they ended so abruptly though
