Would be nice to hear more about why he felt that way haha. That article and clip do not go further than saying he liked nothing about it. I can't say I'm surprised at this point, the dude is a proven curmudgeon

Showing some old Amazing Stories eps to my students today. Mirror Mirror directed by Scorsese rocks. Spooky stuff

 

Under different circumstances, I would be beyond hyped on that Scream 7 trailer but given the Spyglass supporting genocide of it all--let me once again say, fuck that movie, fuck Spyglass and Free Palestine.

Yeah, can't tell if it's the Spyglass of it all or if that trailer is less exciting than the last two were.

 

For me I think it was both of these things. The new trilogy is already starting to feel a bit stale and the murder BNB or whatever made me roll my eyes. Pretty boring trailer.

Some really bad stuff and some really cool stuff in that B&N sale lol. I think I am going to grab the three Blood Island movies, which I've never seen and aren't available anywhere (even the Severin set is sold out), and I Saw the Devil.

 

Did Buffy The Vampire Slayer last night. Watched it a TON as a kid and I forgot how much of Rutger Hauer is lodged into my brain. It's not a great movie, but it was fun to revisit for nostalgia's sake. Paul Reubens was the best. RIP.

 

This is a cool encapsulation of what I like about these movies.

 

I need to watch more. Ogroff is one of my favorite horror movies I’ve watched in a bit.

 

Queens of the Dead is fun and constant oh they're in this too whiplash

 

Casper with the kiddo. Love my Ricci and Pullman.

 

The list has little to no surprises but it's a good list, none the less.
