Seeing bugonia k pop and Frankenstein in some order

 

The trailer for Keeper looked bonkers but Longlegs and The Monkey also looked great but were rather disappointing. The marketing is on point but both of those movies didn’t stick the landing for me. I’ll be waiting to stream Keeper.

 

Frankenweenie (84) brings me pure joy. I remember my dad introducing it to me back in the mid 90s.

 

Remember watching it on "Vault Disney" when I was a kid.

 

Reception for Shelby Oaks and Black Phone 2 are a bit less positive than I was hoping. So. Gonna do Bugonia today. tho tbh I was seriously considering just going to see Chainsaw Man again

 

Loved Black Phone 2. Did not love Shelby Oaks. This concludes my analysis

New trailer for Keeper is cool. Doesn't show toooo much. I like the first one more tho.

I hate how stupid I can be sometimes. Today I learned who Osgood Perkins’ father is.

 

I did not know who he was til now.

 

Also he's in Legally Blonde and his brother is Elvis Perkins

 

been meaning to show some of his films to my dad, and i love that the best way i can describe him is the "deworming orphans in Somalia" guy from Legally Blonde

 

Spooky Season in full effect. Here’s my watches the last 3 nights.


Frozen- Pretty effective low budget survival horror. Loved what they did with a limited setting.

Anything for Jackson- This movie was batshit crazy and totally not what I expected. The spirits were freaky as hell and the grandparents were absolutely unhinged. What a wonderful surprise.

Cargo- Unique spin on a Zombie drama. Absolutely heart wrenching at times, but really enjoyed its subtle nature and hopeful ending.

Mayhem- Fucking loved this. Have no idea how I haven’t seen this before since I’m a huge fan of Yeun/Weaving. What an absolute blast.

 

Did Cemetary Man tonight at the movie club bar. So so good

 

Just put on It (1990) to help me sleep.

 

Watched Demonic 2015. Decent enough little flick
