Also on the subject of children’s Halloween movies, Adams Family Values is on the list of “sequels better than the first” movies imo

 

My favorite kids Halloween movie growing up. I am actually surprised this was the only adaptation of Ray Bradbury's novel and they never did a live action one.

 

My daughter has had Paranorman on repeat. I’ve really found some genuine laugh out loud moments..so, so good.

On The Rewatchables, Halloween II, cast now. Some super bad takes!!!!.. but still enjoying the coverage.

 

Begging everyone in here to watch Rats: Night of Terror for your mandatory dose of poorly dubbed 80s Italian post-apocalyptic rat horror. Incredibly bizarre and cozy in equal measure

 

I was trying to watch Ernest Scared Stupid but it’s not streaming

 

I don’t know if I can watch a third movie named after a plural of rat. Ratz and Rats! are both good.

Watched Good Boy last night. Started really strong and the dog was amazing, but it would've been so much better getting rid of the hamfisted metaphor and making it more of a straightforward haunting.

 

If I don't make it to the movies this weekend, I may just say fuck it and rent Him and Strange Harvest since it will cost less than a theater visit anyways. Call it a little Halloween treat

 

I haven't seen Him yet but feel like you'll really enjoy Strange Harvest

 

I’d wait for Him on streaming or plex. Not worth the money IMO.
