Watched MEGAN the other night with the wife. It was whatever. It was something to watch I guess. Watched SMILE last night. I REALLY liked that one. Soundtrack was great. Downloaded that for later listening. Has Akira Yamaoka(Silent Hill) vibes and that does it for me. I tend to watch movies 3+ years late.
‘Friday the 13th’ TV Series ‘Crystal Lake’ Has Wrapped Filming Why did I think this had already been canceled?
I'm going to see Thrice on Halloween. I have friends that are dressing up. I'm considering what I should do.
Deadbolt (Earth-616) https://www.reddit.com/r/Deadbolt/s/QRlSWzmvFQ But legitimately you could make a giant deadbolt lock out of cardboard and put one side on your front half and the other on your back and then have the lock coming out from your side. Would be cumbersome to wear though.
Since we were recently talking about how the imagery and aesthetic of the Rng is so great, just wanted to update that I had to go to the coast this week and I drove past the lighthouse that was used in the movie and can confirm 10/10 vibes still immaculate
OG Black Christmas is still as good as it gets for me, the phone calls are some of the scariest shit ever put to film I always forget how genuinely funny this movie is too, just makes the horror hit harder when it switches up
My ex and I visited my parents a few years ago and had my parents watch Black Christmas. My mom kept saying, “I don’t understand, is this a horror or a comedy?!” and also refused to sit still. I vowed that night that I would never watch another movie with my parents again. But yeah, easily my favorite slasher besides maybe Scream. It’s genuinely scary! And funny!
yeah I might prefer it to Halloween too, respect to Carpenter. I absolutely love the guy in the police station who does nothing but laugh every scene he's in. 10/10 supporting character and that actor understood the assignment completely also watched The Craft for the first time tonight, was expecting camp but it actually... gets pretty intense towards the end lmao. went from Buffy s1 to Buffy s6 in under two hours, great movie!
I am struggling to get through The Seventh Sign, lol. Like it's perfectly fine so far, I enjoyed the first half, but I don't really feel like picking it back up.
I mean, it is strictly Christmas for me because Christmas horror is a precious resource, but I'm sure folks will get down with it. Part of what makes it so cozy to me, though, is that it is absolutely just plastered with old-school Christmas lights and decor
I'm seeing Shelby Oaks this weekend and pretty excited for it. We were going to do Black Phone 2 (rare weekend night off without the kiddo) but the times don't work for us so Shelby Oaks it is.
so reddit wasn't wrong this time. i feel like that one guy who said it was gonna be Together but it ended up being the Pete Davidson movie might've been trolling.
