that may have been me lmao I'm really glad you had the same experience. seeing Endless randomly years after watching Resolution not knowing who the directors were and getting that slowly sneaking "wait is this..." realisation building up is one of my favourite horror movie memories

I really should watch Spring again, it's been years but I remember finding it surprisingly beautiful too. Something in the Dirt is great too although completely different than I was expecting based on the initial hype, I think Resolution left some very big shoes to fill there

 

This looks dope. Might have to do the same.

 

Just got out of Black Phone 2. Didn’t like it quite as much as the first, but it was still pretty good.

This one was a bit more horror and on the gory side. The main characters and most of the people at the Christian camp are likable. The Grabber is more terrifying in this one as well. The exposition is a bit overloaded for the story to work, but that’s pretty much the only downside to it.

 

Yoooo unless this fully falls on its face, this is a must watch for you sickos in here. Henenlotter neon slime in LA meets Scanners?

Someone on LB described it as the grime and depravity of Street Trash or a Henenlotter flick without the comedic undertones. So far plays it deadly serious which almost makes it funnier haha

 

The Bay was ok. Definitely needed a better budget and writing. Some of the dialogue was atrocious but with what budget they did have it got more interesting as it went on.

 

Love haunting of Hill house. Def warrants regular rewatches and I've just started rewatching it for the first time in a few years

 

Literally never not thinking about how exaggerated Halsey's accent in MaXXXine is and how she posted a video after the fact trying to convince people it was real, lmao

Saw New Group at a festival, keep an eye out for that one. Bizarre absurdist horror.

 

Yeah, happy to report I still think MaXXXine is not only very underrated, but at the risk of sounding pompous, misunderstood.

 

Has anyone watched this?

 

Looks like it just came out today. I posted the trailer earlier, only came out a few days ago.

 

Hellraiser 1 and 2 tonight. haven't had as much time for spooky season this year with my studies, bit of a bummer
