Exactly, teeth aside, it was mostly the "elasticity" of Curry's face and performance.

There's so much potential there. I really enjoy the original, but I think it's the nostalgia talking. I wouldn't mind a reboot at all.

I think I'm the only person to like Cube Zero.

I saw Cube for the first time a few years ago and was more impressed that the filmmakers used only one room for the whole movie.

Have you heard of the movie called Nothing? I remember seeing this around the same time as Cube and Cube Zero. Both of these films have such a weird world surrounding them I love it.

Not heard of it but just looked it up... interesting premise. Are the Cube sequels worth checking out?

I've only seen Cube Zero, which takes place in the control room of the prison. And I think takes place during the first cube? I might be wrong on that.

Never seen Cube 2: Hypercube or whatever the hell it was called.

Personally, no. However, I recommend watching "Circle," if you haven't seen it already. It has nothing to do with Cube, but feels like it could be some time of spiritual sequel.

Oh, forgot to mention that the director of the original Cube directed and wrote Nothing. So there's that.

Circle? Haven't even heard of that one.

The acting is what it is, but the premise is pretty cool. It used to be on Netflix, not sure if it's still available or not.

When I looked it up I saw he also directed Splice, which I though was just alright.

    Circle looks good.

Can we put together a list of movies where the plot revolves around "a group of people wake up in a weird place and must do something to escape?"

    Not the Saw franchise.

    I'll start:

    Exam
    Exam (2009) - IMDb

    The Killing Room
The Killing Room (2009) - IMDb

  18. I actually thought Splice was really, really interesting from what I remember

Circle is pretty good. I took part in a live tweet of it and it was a fun time. Though I guess a bunch of people thought it was bad.

Most people think a lot of these types of movies are bad, but it's one of my favorite sub genres.

I liked Cube Zero a lot!

Cube 2: Hypercube was really bad though, but at least the CGI is hilarious.

    This.

Definitely a fun watch while consuming some adult beverages.

  23. I watched Nina Forever. Interesting concept, but I wasn't the biggest fan of it.

Aww really? I loved this one. Holly's concept of what love meant, and how to make her boyfriend happy was so twisted and dark.

  25. Ya it's mostly a personal taste thing, not necessarily a knock against the movie itself. I think what the movie was going for was executed well, and it explores interesting ideas about love and loss.
