Maybe not here as in Chorus or AP, but it wasn't really liked in the horror community for whatever reason.

Is Boy worth checking out? (the Lauren Cohan movie that came out earlier this year)

    No. Watch Housebound instead.

    Seen it

Looking to add new movies to my Netflix queue and just saw that there's a remake to Eli Roth's Cabin Fever. WTF?

Which Roth himself produced, heard it was garbage though.

I liked it more than Lights Out, which is not a very high bar but I back The Boy for what it is

Watched The Hitcher for the first time tonight. Rutger Hauer was crazy creepy.

  8. Anyone seen P2? I really enjoyed Aja's Piranha remake so I picked it up at the movie store

From what I remember its a decent slow burn but there's a scene where a guy's guts are ruptured

Anyone seen Hush on Netflix? I've got some free time tomorrow night and am debating between that and The Invitation. Sounds like The Invitation will be a good pick, but still want to see if there's any weight to the Hush pick.

They're both really great. If I had to choose one it would be the Invitation but you can't go wrong

I saw Hush and thought it was really good. Didn't see the other one.

So it seems out of the "essential" Cronenberg horror films I really only haven't seen Scanners, and Rabid. I was on a website that said Rabid was getting a special collectors edition BR this year through Scream Factory. Might pick that up.

I saw Hush. I liked it a lot, and I don't like very many scary movies.

Saw it, it was decent IMO, didn't live up to my expectations, but that is probably my fault!

Not expecting to be blown away or anything but it definitely looks worth a watch, will probably give it a whirl tonight if I don't put Blackcoat's Daughter first

Just out of curiousity - is anyone here interested in doing a bit of writing in the form of reviews or editorial pieces?
