Finally got around to watching this. It's really good and the production value is great.

I hope the sequel with Jason in the snow doesn't deter a studio from doing that concept.

Any word on if Antebellum is any good/worth 19.99?

Babysitter 2 was dumb as hell but I had fun. I’d watch another

King Bach was a highlight of the movie for me.

Also, I need to watch something ASAP tonight. Too much is happening and it's overwhelming. I'm just glad I have an escape in horror.

I really had fun with the first one, but I actually had to turn 2 off. Maybe I just wasn’t in the right headspace, but it just felt too stupid.

I was half paying attention but laughed a decent amount

Also if you want a dumb fun horror flick, Satan’s Little Helper is on Prime!!!! One of my favorites ever

Maybe I’ll revisit a little closer to Halloween after a few glasses of wine.

Satans little helper is laugh out loud outrageous. I have a blast with it every time. It’s one of those films you loveee to introduce new people to.

I rented it from Blockbuster along with another shitty horror flick (Killyjoy maybe?) in like 8th grade or Freshman year for a sleepover. Absolutely blew my mind. Still talk about it with my friends to this day. Gonna try to have a watch party sometime soon for people who may not have seen it

How in gods name do you also manage to throw killjoy into this amazing story? The only other banger you missed is Terror Toons. That’s my trifecta.

We ran through some CLASSICS that summer. Mr. Jingles was another notable mid 00s direct to video gem.

Full Moon Fright Night with Shatner would air weird shit on Sci-Fi with the ridiculous bumpers.

We’d watch shitty horror and Cheap Seats all through the night

This is exactly what my friends and I did. We’d wander the horror aisle at blockbuster looking for the most hysterical vhs/dvd art. The first one we ever watched was The Funhouse (not knowing who Tobe Hooper was at the time.) 8 prepubescent boys all hopped up on soda...when “the monster” removes the Frankenstein mask to reveal its true face...we literally blew our gaskets laughing.

I feel like we stuck to mostly new stuff...or my blockbuster just had a shitty newer selection haha

    Blob remake is great.
If I told you I’ve never seen American Werewolf in London (at least as an adult all the way through), The Howling or Silver Bullet, which should I watch first?

I’d actually do Silver Bullet, Howling, American Werewolf in that order. You don’t wanna set the bar too high right off the bat.

I know all the beats/surprises/effects in AWIL. The other two I know nothing about, aside from Dante’s involvement in The Howling

I'd say The Howling then, Silver Bullet isn't that good if you don't have any nostalgia attached to it.

Gimme light, gimme love, gimme fire

I’ll never forget the perverse nature of the scene with the fortune teller and the monster in The Funhouse.

I’m tired and watched 2 other movies tonight, so I put on Silver Bullet. At the very least, the cast rules!
