Watching "Sputnik" right now; pretty good so far

Also, is "Peninsula", the Train to Busan sequel, online to stream/watch anywhere?

  4. Lol I had a dream a friend lent me a pirated copy of Possesser on DVD. I want to see that one so bad.

Watched The Taking of Deborah Logan on Prime today. A few thoughts: I hate that the Academy never gives horror it’s due because the actress that played Deborah was phenomenal. Also, THAT scene is going to stick with me for a while. You know the one.

Toni Collette and Florence Pugh not getting nominated for their work in Ari Aster films is a travesty.

  7. Well Go USA will release “Peninsula” in theaters and on VOD on Friday, August 21st.

I liked it! It does get a bit repetitive and they gloss over a lot of good ones, but it was a fun watch

thanks, I used to subscribe to the VRV app which carried Shudder and at one point that channel went away so I’m not sure if I could do a free week trial of Shudder now. I just watched the trailer for the doc and it looks very much in line with what I love about these types of docs

I do feel bad that it seems to be a consensus, but it's true. Everyone else's comments seem off the cuff and genuine/unique. It may simply come down to tone and inflection, but it seemed glaring to me when watch as a whole. With that said: James was extremely knowledgeable and it makes me want to check out Dead Meat's content.

I feel it's essential if you're a genre fan. 80s horror was such a pinnacle and they don't just discuss the "hits"; there was a smattering I didn't know and I loved it.

    fuck tammy! Prestigious

Squirm (1976) is on Shudder and it's silly but enjoyable and interestingly enough the Nice Guy being the real villainhas been a thing for at least 45 years. Huh

Also the actress who plays the sister has only that one credit and what happened???

  16. Heh, always enjoyed the MST3K episode on Squirm

I have watched so little MST3K that it's criminal, considering my childhood bff and I directly ripped it off to do commentary on other movies like Jurassic Park 2

Ugh makes me feel bad. He seems like a very down to earth dude when you get right down to it. If anything, I am gonna invest more time in Dead Meat.

    Also..follow up film?

Does anyone here like Frailty? Feel like I haven't seen that one discussed but I actually love it. Watched it last night for the first time in a while.

Definitely. Haven't seen it in years, but I still think about it at random times.

Especially when we take a long drive in rural Texas and see a barn in the middle of nowhere...
