Not really, found the first act to be solid but then it just got repetitive and wasn't all that scary.

  14. Wow. Dawn of the Dead is still so, so good. Like, ~almost~ perfect. Great choice for yesterday.

Still need to watch Day of the Dead, but tonight, it's Freddy vs. Jason.

  15. Also gotta chime in on this FvJ talk (foolishly, before watching the film). I love A Nightmare on Em Street, but Jason doesn't sleep considering he's been supernatural since Part VI: Jason Lives, plus I could see Freddy being overconfident and getting in his own head too much!!

But does being supernatural automatically imply that u don't sleep?? If he doesn't sleep what does he even do when he doesn't have ppl to murder?? It's not like camp crystal lake is popping. Sure he travels sometimes but sis can't keep his skills sharp I'm sure like he's gotta get rusty

Day of the Dead is my favourite of the original 'Dead' trilogy even if it isn't technically the better film, if you know what I mean.

Saw Halloween in an imax theatre all to myself yesterday haha, pretty awesome. really liked the movie. not without it's faults, won't spoil anything though (said more in the actual movie's thread). the score is magnificent, Jamie lee Curtis kills it, and the cinematography is awesome. def put it 2nd after the original. will be seeing it again.

Day of the Dead is ok. Nowhere as good as the first two. Freddy vs Jason is like the ultimate guilty pleasure movie for me

Does anyone know where I can watch the original Halloween? I've checked Netflix, prime video, hulu, and vudu. I've seen Halloween before but I'd like to watch it before I see the new one this weekend

as someone already said, Shudder, and you will not regret the subscription. also, definitely recommend watching the original as close to when to see the new one as possible. so many great nods in the cinematography that will be nice and fresh in your mind.
