Suspiria or Trick 'r Treat or both. Hereditary is great but the first two have a much more halloween feel to me.

Aaaaaagh those are all so totally different and perfect. Trick r Treat would probably be the most silly and fun while also being scary, Suspiria is great if you want something loud and intense and classic, and Hereditary would be the most dread-inducing and just straight up upsetting/serious.

I would recommend the other two under any other circumstance but with it being Halloween, I think you should go with Trick ‘r Treat

Tonight I'm gonna finally watch The Invitation. Always heard great things and it's been on my list for a while.

I need to finish AVP tonight. Then I'll probably check out Tales of Halloween.

Will make a point to watch Trick R Treat tonight. I've probably been meaning to see it longer than the other 2 anyway.

I’m gonna go with Hereditary because it’s hands down the best out of the three. Also, checked out Trick r’ Treat for the first time this month and it just didn’t really do much for me

Ended up doing a double feature tonight. Finished Silver Bullet and just started Child’s Play 3... just two movies I was in the mood for when browsing my DVDs

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

was hoping to find a cheapish pack of Halloween movies because I've only ever seen the original and the new one.. only collection I could find had Curse, 20 and Resurrection which from word of mouth wasn't even worth the money so I got a 4-pack of Scream instead (only seen the first 2)

I still think that nursing scene is one of the most upsetting things I’ve ever witnessed in a movie. Every now and then I just remember that it exists and shudder.

Alien v predator? Because I am kinda pressed about the treatment of the predators because screw the predators honestly and their flop franchise. Aliens for lyyyyfe. It's like Freddy vs Jason okay Freddy would win because Jason needs to sleep eventually like end of bye.

Oh I agree, Alien franchise is so much better

Unless we go by most recent entries. Shane Black's Predator was fun and Alien Covenant was decidedly not

To be fair to the predators I am less familiar with their franchise but the ones I've seen felt more action movie to me compared to the sci-fi horror aesthetic of alien which is so gooood and even tho Aliens is like an action movie too it does it so well! Never watched covenant tho.
