I don't remember what happened that made it bad. (But it wasn't great to begin with imo)

 

I can accept the supernatural but not hilariously unrealistic house fires.

 

I downloaded Troll 2 last week. Haven't watched it yet, but boy am I excited to!

 

Started my October off with Monster House. The animation was terribleee.

 

Troll 2? Gotta double feature it with Best Worst Movie

haven't heard of Best Worst Movie... so i'll snag that one too

 

started with Tucker and Dale
today is The Sacrament...but should probably be Cabin in the Woods...hmmm

 

My girlfriend hasn't seen a lot of horror movies so we've been watching some classics (especially a lot of Stephen King) though I'm not sure she'll be able to handle Pet Sematary or The Mist because of the use of children and animals. I am most excited to share Cabin In The Woods with her because I think she will have a blast with it.

 

What’s some music/songs you guys listen to around this time of year?

 

Murder by Death almost exclusively. Particularly Like the Exorcist but More Breakdancing, Who Will Survive and What Will be Left of Them? and Red of Tooth and Claw

Dead Man's Bones and Murder By Death top the list for me.

 

I finally watched XX and it was pretty decent. Karyn Kusama's segment was good, so was The Box. Annie Clark's was like a nightmare you have and then laugh at later

I think I struggle with short films because I'm usually left with questions but at the same time I enjoy them

 

I'm glad he survived the trip!

Hoping to make some entirely new monsters in the coming weeks...I've been so busy/tired lately.

 

My girlfriend hasn't seen a ton either so it's been exciting to share my favorites with her. We watched Cabin in the Woods a few weeks ago and she really dug it. Hard not to, really.

 

Pretty much how I felt too. I didnt have an issue when I was watching but it's not super memorable.

 

for nights when I get out of work too late to watch a movie, I wanna try: best Halloween episodes of shows?

 

Hell House LLC should have stuck more to it's fun element. The documentary stuff was too serious and destroyed the pacing. Some good moments though.

Watching Houses October Built (again) now and that's a perfect example of doing it right given the subject.

 

I HATE our stupid regal theater. they never participate in any events or do the promotional shit. so we're not getting any of that horror fest stuff that just started.

 

my fucking gorgeous Phenomena steel came today so after class and groceries i think i'm getting stoned and watching that

 

just started Bate's Motel, heard good things. I'm also almost done with season one of mtv's Scream. big fan of the movies so I thought I might as well try out the show, I've actually be pleasantly surprised.
