    Doing fine. Prestigious

The Void really is a paper thin plot, just there as a vehicle for the showcase of practical effects. I really enjoyed it for what it was. Just a fun time in the theater.

I've been wanting to see The Monster. It looked great when I saw the previews. Need to renew the hunt to get this one done.

I though the void was garbage when I watched but I may try it again soon

I honestly loved the void. It's obviously super flawed, but it's heart is in the right place.

Loved Raw. I will admit I found myself trying to look away during certain moments in the movie.

47 Meters Down was a fun time. The "twist," if you can call it that, was incredibly predictable, but I still enjoyed how it played out -- great score there at the end.

Raw is probably still my favorite film of the year. I think about it all of the time.

I watched two movies last night from Shudder, Among the Living (2014) and Cub (2014). Both star younger kids as the mains. First was much better than the second...second when it was over was like "what the hell did I just watch?" haha

Have not stopped thinking about Raw since I watched it this morning. I really don't see how anything can top it this year.

Yeah, Raw is the best horror I've seen since The Witch. Easily.

Yeah, I really need to watch Raw too.

Green Room, Get Out, and The VVitch are my favorites over the past few years, so hopefully Raw joins that group.

I can't see anything beating Get Out this year. Need to see Raw though

I feel like I'm in the small minority that wasn't blown away by Get Out. I really enjoyed it and I loved all the social commentary but, strictly speaking from a film perspective, I think I like what it represents more than I like the movie itself. I found it to be akin to a really enjoyable episode of The Twilight Zone but I don't feel the need to see it again.

I had to turn away from the screen a couple times during Raw, so bravo for that. I was equal parts horrified and laughing at her debate over eating her sister's finger and then subsequent chow down

I loved it but I mostly agree with that. It was a great first feature and I thoroughly enjoyed it and what it had to say but, as I said in the thread, people are making it out to be some staggering cinematic achievement which I don't really see.

I really liked that part of the score that kicked in at that moment as well as several others throughout.

Halfway through Hell House LLC. It's s fun little haunted house mockumentary currently streaming on Prime. Acting is expectedly subpar, but the tension and scares are fantastic.

Did anyone watch Bone Tomahawk? Just finished it. I really enjoyed it. A bit of horror mixed in with a western. Cast was fitting, too.
