Fright-Rags released their new Halloween collection this morning. Some pretty sick designs. Snagged the V1 hoodie, Loomis shirt and Michael socks.

my roommate and i are being scott aukerman and reggie watts from comedy bang bang

 

Seeing the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre in the big screen tonight. This movie still freaks me out so I absolutely cannot wait.

 

The Gallows was not a good film, but I kind of shamelessly loved it. It was sooooo hokey, but I'm a sucker for movies like that sometimes and I also happen to spend a lot of time in my university's haunted theatre, so overall it was just a fun and easy watch

 

i gotta start getting on horror movies for the month, man, fuck, it's already a third down. started with Ginger Snaps and we made a good call

 

Didn't like Ginger Snaps much. I need to give it another try

 

Going with VHS and Jeepers Creepers double feature tonight, and Paranorman/Monster House tomorrow. Also, this month I discovered the joys of mixing chocolate candy in with popcorn. It's been the best October in years

 

I learned about putting milk duds in popcorn from Hank Hill ("it's wild") and I've never looked back.

 

Phantom of the Paradise was the best and everyone should watch it

 

So far I've tried Reese's Pieces, Crispy M&MS, Rosebuds and those chocolate balls wrapped in pumpkin tinfoil. I've been straight up popping kernels in the air popper so it's a little spice to some real simple popcorn

 

Holy crap I need to do this.

I've actually never seen Monster House, is it as good as Paranorman?

 

Honestly, I haven't seen it either! I love Paranorman so much, and my roommates have never seen it. One of them is a big Monster House fan, so we're both going to be in for a treat tomorrow.

 

Monster House is awesome.

I was listening to a podcast recently (forget which one) and someone remarked that at a recent theater visit they spotted someone eating popcorn with sliced jalapenos mixed in.

 

Somehow first became aware of candy-in-popcorn at the theater while watching Whiplash.

I've done Bunch-a-Crunch a couple times since and it's great.

 

i'm all for sweet and salty, but would the movie butter fuck with the candy?

 

My dad always adds peanut m&ms to popcorn. I'm fond of it
