Definitely check out The Witch. I really like Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow too; it's not necessarily scary but its a pretty good Halloween-type movie

Those both look pretty promising for found footage films. Definitely adding them to my list.

Speaking of Child's play, here's a behind the scenes clip from the recent Blu ray release

I was 10 or 11. My grandma had just moved into our house after my grandpa had passed. I went to Hollywood Video and got her to rent it for me on a day I played hooky from school. Watched it in my room, in the middle of the day/daylight. Was scared to death...Good times.

My wife and I are planning on dressing our daughter up as the bride of chucky for Halloween this year. She's only a year and a half so she's about the perfect height for it

I don't care what anyone says, the first Final Destination is one hell of a fun movie. No clue how some of the later installments received better reviews.

The premise is so good that every one of them is pretty fun. The only one I remember not being that into was the fourth, but even that one is worth a watch with some friends.

I think I've seen all the sequels but each one made me feel super paranoid that if I left my house the slightest thing will kill me

Don't get me wrong, I love it, but I wish it came as a standard good guy doll. Something about Chucky sitting there with a smile on his face is more terrifying to me.

I personally think they're all just as good as the first. To me it's one of the few series that haven't gone downhill with multiple installments.

I guess I agree. I think my love for the first one has to do with the characters. The first, second, and third installments have some like-able characters, but by the fourth and fifth, it was really hard to give a shit about what was going on. Good visuals though.

I don't dress up, it's either too much money or too much work and I can never decide on anything

The same company sells one and I'd be inclined to agree with you but I thought the sinister one looked better. If they had used the exact box design as in the movie, I probably would have gone with it anyway, but because the box says Chucky on it, etc., I decided on evil Chucky. Plus it comes with that knife.
