I saw it a few years back. Remember being really into it at the time, but I have a soft spot for movies with that sort of premise

I also bought season 1 of Ash Vs Evil Dead, so I have that to look forward to

 

Not bad, worth a watch.

 

Wow, Get Out looks amazing

 

It is fucking incredible. I expected a silly hyper violent old school homage and I got it, but with beautiful shots and stylistic flair to spare. It was absolutely wild.

 

Get out looks absolutely terrifying. Cannot wait to see this.

 

Hobo is okay. The new school "old school" films don't really do much for me

 

Sleepaway Camp II is a surprisingly fun sequel.

 

Have you seen the third? Pamela Springsteen pulls off the psychopath very well in both movies. Also, that's Renee Estevez (Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez's sister) who's the final girl in that one.

 

I have not but it is on Hulu so I'll watch it after this one.

 

Don't know... I saw both years ago when it was playing on cable

 

I remember waiting years for Return to Sleepaway Camp to come out. When I finally got a copy via the everything must go sale of my town's video store, I had a friend over and we ate junk food and watched it and goddamn if that isn't one of my fondest movie watching memories

 

That scene in II when Angela sets the twin on fire is so damn gnarly.

 

i just wasn't able to stomach Sleepaway Camp knowing its very transphobic, exploitative ending. just sours it and anything afterwards for me. the death sequences were pretty cool and i get that it's a product of its time, but, gross.

 

I just remember the obvious shot of the dummy when Angela decapitates one of them.

 

Sleepaway Camp II and III are two of my favorite horror films ever
