Saw Sinners again tonight and just cemented it as my favorite film so far this year. Really excited for Weapons, Bring Her Back, and 28 Years Later

 

Came in late on City of the Dead for TLDI but I am so here for Ringu

 

Sick in bed with food poisoning. Good time to finally watch the Speak No Evil remake because my wife refuses to watch McAvoy be a monster to children.

Rosario was kinda disappointing. The word I kept thinking as I watched was "clumsy." Thematically it had the right idea but it's such a mess

 

Saw the trailer before Rosario, looks like a generic exorcism movie. Maybe I'm just not interested in this genre

We did get a trailer that I thought was interesting but now I can't remember what the movie was called

Skinamarink, Jacob's Ladder, Bloody Muscle Body Builder in Hell, Possession, Mandy, Basket Case, WNUF Halloween Special. That's among the obvious hits (Halloween, Black Christmas, Tremors). Would also highly recommend running through The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs to see if he's hosted any of the above or anything you're interested in

Aaron covered most of the goods but I also cannot recommend anything Lucio Fulci enough. Don’t know if that’s your bag or not, but kind of a weirder giallo offshoot from Dario Argento. Not even sure what Shudder still has of his but Zombie is an all timer imho
