Creepshow is a top 5 horror movie for me. Only King books i've read are Pet Sematary, The Shining, Doctor Sleep, Night Shift, Carrie, and Cujo

The Zelda scene from Pet Sematary is one of the first horror scenes I remember scaring the shit out of me and it's still very affective. They used to play that all the time on USA as a kid and I couldn't not watch it. Maximum Overdrive a classic cable movie for me too.

I did like the remake more than most, but the Hooper is still the definitive version. I wish I could've seen it as a kid while it aired. I think that window scene was formative for a lot of people, it still works so well. I tried to watch the Rob Lowe from 2004 and it's real bad.

I really highly recommend it. Ralphie Glick scene is for me pretty much what the Zelda scene was for @Daniel , King just knows how to get to the root of that childhood fear so well

...anyway yeah I like King can't wait for a good Dark Tower adaptation

  9. I saw a trailer for Rosario a while back that looked pretty interesting, i really like cultural folk horror (Umma, It Lives Inside) so i think i'll watch that next.

would watch Sinners but can't shake the gross feeling i get anytime i think of MBJ's comments on Majors

did yall like Drop? Until Dawn? still on the fence with those

Death of a Unicorn was so disappointing. Fell into the same issues as The Monkey did with not enough Horror or Comedy though I liked The Monkey quite a bit more.

I had fun watching Death of a Unicorn. Definitely not one of the best of the year though

Death of a Unicorn was pretty fun with a crowd/group who were in the mood for it. might be a bad streaming movie though lmao, I probably wouldn't watch it again

For me, I wanted more Unicorns killing shit and less filler backstory. Also Paul Rudd was on autopilot and a characture of himself lol
