True, but I don't even get real IMAX anywhere. Philly used to have a theater that did 70mm but they closed it. The dome screen was kinda shit at the point too, but at least we had it.

  2. Yeah, we don't even have Cinemark XD in Erie. Would need to travel a couple of hours to a major city for anything other than a standard screen.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

Saw Sinners and The Shrouds today. Great day at the movies.

Had a good time with Hell of a Summer. Wished it had more gore and didn’t follow its influences so closely, but it had some heart and was pretty funny at times.

Ash was pretty good. Some cool visuals and I dug the Thing/Resident Evilesque climax. Lead's performance felt a bit off to me, maybe i'm alone there lol

Thought Sinners was great. So many standout characters but i feel like some of the deaths weren't as impactful as they should have been. More horror and vampires would have bumped it up even more for me.

I finally got around to Horror in the High Desert too. That ending was pretty damn effective

  10. Are ppl srsly running out of ideas for slashers? No hate but liek that's the most basic subgenre of horror. Why they pulling sequels out their ass for movies no one remembers

I do have it on plex though, since I have problems. Maybe I'll rewatch it sometime.

I have a ton of slasher ideas, if anyone wants to write with me let me know. Not the most exciting subgenre imo.

But I want an original horror movie from them. Plus Ayo didn't write for Bottoms.

People are starting to have those 2000s nostalgia and it's not warranted for most of them tbh
