I just now watched a trailer for Ash and it looks very promising

 

Yeah I've heard good things, plus it's just cool that Flying Lotus directed it

Holland was a bit disappointing

I enjoyed it - nothing groundbreaking, it's a little long in the tooth and starts to unravel by the end, but I thought it was visually nice with good performances. Kind of Fargo-esque or like a DePalma thriller disguised as a romantic comedy. Definitely not as strong as Fresh, though.

Yeah, Fresh is still much better. I liked things about Holland. I think I just wanted something weirder lol

I would call it interesting, worth the watch, and even good imo, just not "great" the way Fresh was. But if you like the unique style and vibe-switch in that movie, you'll enjoy it!

Yeah I liked parts of Holland but I was definitely hoping for more after Fresh.

 

Regardless of how people feel about either movie, give the woman a theatrical release for christ sake.

I swear that 2 had a unique effect on America and to this day, I’ve seen people stay far away from logging trucks.

 

Yeah 2 rules too and the logging truck is more iconic than the plane in the first one now.

 

For real, planes crash every day now. What's there to be scared about?

 

That logging truck scene actually has me so fucked up that I think about everything in front of me while I'm driving behind something that looks sketchy.
