  4. For Sale By Exorcist was fun/cute and occasionally very funny!! Worth it for the LaMartina heads in here

Also, Abruption (life-size puppet movie) was insane, very Adult Swim Presents A Scanner Darkly

I’m re-listening to the Halloween episodes now. Currently on III. They sound like they were having so much more fun back then! I miss the horror episodes, big time.

Yeah, I’m definitely going to rewatch that pretty often, haha. Such a great time. I watched it virtually with a friend and I wasn’t sure what she was going to think but she also adored it.

  9. it's just a total blast, watching it during The Last Drive-In all-night marathon with a few drinks was a 10/10 experience

lol, I knew you didn't, I also know your movie time is limited so no worries! thankfully it's only like an hour long

  19. Wow these are all amazing; thank you for the great recommendations! Seen a few, but Misery and The Lodge are sticking out rn. I found Cuckoo on the cabin's TV earlier, so I started with that. Hopefully they'll have another!

Rewatching a found footage WWII movie I vaguley rememberred enjoying in college called Frankenstein's Army and it fucking rips lol 80 minutes of brazenly stupid, all killer no filler, Nazi mad scientist shit with practical effect creatures. Would honestly make for a banger double-feature with Hellboy

  23. After watching Hellboy: The Crooked Man (and being heartbroken by how much was right versus how much was broken), I've been reading the comics again. Gonna watch Frankenstein's Army once I'm done with this volume!

  24. My favorite found footage film is probably Afflicted. Blair Witch Project and Cloverfield are ofc super influential and therefore essential viewing. The first couple [REC] movies were also really cool (third one's a little less found footage, a little more campy). I remember enjoying Chronicle but I think one of the creators turned out to be problematic, I can't remember the details. I haven't seen Hell House, that's another found footage film right? The genre is pretty gimmicky and excessive shaky cam can make me dizzy but there are a lot of pretty interesting narratives utilizing it. Nowadays I try to avoid anything that might make me nauseous tho

You should check out the first and most recent Hell House, unless you truly hate clowns.
