I’m glad we’ve had this much distance from the NOES and F13 series, but I’m so ready for them to come back.

 

Can't remember if I posted it in here or not, but I revisited the F13 reboot semi-recently and dialogue be damned, survivalist Jason is so sick

Reboot is my 3rd favorite after many watches over the years. I used to think it sucked when it came out. That movie is a blast and has the most quotable sex scene ever. lol

 

yeah, at a certain point you pretty much have to believe that the dialogue was intentional lol. that was fun to watch back to back with In a Violent Nature

 

Oh, Derek Mears was wonderful.

 

I think you just motivated me to revisit it this weekend. I need to just allow myself to enjoy it and bask in its flaws, because I remember hating it outside of Mears.

 

I think I started throwing it on at the end of marathons just to be a completionist and it just grew on me. It's not even close to the worst F13 and I like all of them in some way.

 

Thread...is it time to re-rank the F13 flicks??

you joke, but it is easily one of my favorites lol

 

Hell yeah one of the best Kings, not talked about enough.

 

I’m not joking! I absolutely love Manhattan! It’s one of the first horror movies I’ve ever seen!

 

The premise reminds me a bit of Whiplash but I am excited to see Marlon Wayans in a movie like this, he's a seriously underrated dramatic actor

 

7 is my favorite hehe

 

In a Violent Nature did reinvigorate my desire for more camp/forest based horror. May just suck it up and do an F13 series run to make @Aaron Mook happy.

Gonna be hard for me to enjoy M3GAN 2.0 after Jenna ghosted our festival, but it does sound wild lol.

 

Also, everyone should always be in the middle of an F13 franchise run. The world would be a cozier place.

 

I watch Jason X 13 times a day.
