Oh I was just mentioning because you'd think there would be more talk with a simultaneous release too.

Opus isn't that scary, but a lot funnier than I expected. Definitely recommend it to the freaks in here.

  6. Borderline rocked. Went in assuming Samara Weaving would be stealing the show, but that was really the Nicholson kid’s movie. Alba Baptista was awesome too. Great closing credits with Lean Into Life by Petey playing. Big W

”Do you ever wonder why your dog stares at empty corners, barks for no reason, or refuses to go into the basement? Good Boy is the story of a dog who sees everything that goes bump in the night. No talking pets, just terrifying scares.”

Yeah, all in for that. Dog’s a cutie too

  16. Borderline was fun! Tonally pretty messy, and I think some of it falls apart if you think about it, but just a lot of fun to watch. Nicholson does a lot of his father's schtick, but if he can come out from under that shadow, he's got a great career ahead of him.

  17. Agree with all of that - not an air tight plot movie by any means, succeeds with its performances. The bodyguard stuff felt like it was a completely different movie and was my least favorite part. If we didn’t get the bicycle cop dance/kill as a result I might question why it was even there

Just went for a run on a trail like 30 seconds from my apartment and at some point there’s a really cool graffiti tunnel. Anyway, sharing because horror:

Borderline was a fun watch but falls into the same issues as The Monkey. The pacing is off and both movies didn’t really go into the horror/thriller or comedy enough. It seems like both movies had a lot of potential with the premises but had a bit of an identity crisis with the execution.

I enjoyed Borderline but I wanted more out of it. The cast was great as expected

Ash seems to be doing well in early screens. May try and catch that Thursday if possible
