Fuck that jump scare shit.

 

I really like him but don't actually care, but it's still just funnier to give people shit.

 

He doesn't really do jump scares, except for one ep in Hill House that's really effective emotionally and one ep in Midnight Club that's a parody of jump scares

 

Don’t underestimate my ability to be easily scared.



My wife loves to bring up the time I did a full body jump during a scene in A Quiet Place. Even the guy next to me started busting out laughing.

My point is, at least for the one... admittedly very big... jump scare in Hill House, everything else about the series--and the scene itself--makes it worth it. I would hate to think you're avoiding his shows based on a misconception

Heart Eyes seems to be getting decent reviews so far. Between that, The Monkey and Companion we are having a great start to horror this year. Usually it takes until March-April for things to pick up so it’s nice to have some fun horror earlier in the year.

so Companion was really fun if nothing amazing. kinda reminded me of Bodies x3 but less annoying and with a character to actually root for. Sophie Thatcher has a very bright future imo she's gonna be a star

I kind of had an idea of the twist already, must have read something about it but it didn't affect my enjoyment at all really. feel like you can kinda guess it anyway
