i'm not a Resident Evil fan, but it seems like nearly every adaptation of this series has been terrible from what i've heard, so hopefully someone like Cregger can do it justice

 

I feel like he could make a cool story in the RE world. Good choice.

 

I wish we could get an update on if Radio Silence is still attached to the Escape from NY requel or sequel.

 

it's crazy because Resident Evil seems like it should be so easy to adapt into a solid movie but every time they've tried it it's sucked shit. here's hoping Cregger can pull it off although I cooled on Barbarian pretty quick

 

If they're going to release stuff on VOD so soon, I wish they wouldn't announce that the literal day it hits theaters, castrating any chance it had at the box office.

 

To be fair, most of the time I share digital release dates without a tweet, it’s from a site that I follow myself. Half the stuff I’ve posted on here, I’ve never even seen announced on social media before it came out. I think the site has access to the iTunes database or something, but I’ve never actually looked into it.

Doesn’t take away from your point. Just figured that I’d mention that most of the time it’s not from an official announcement that I get them from. Lol

I mean, I appreciate knowing, and will still go to the theater if at all possible (I've actually saw Presence at an early screening last week), but it just feels like the industry wants theaters to die.

 

Just do a movie at Spencer Manor and keep it there, it’s not that hard.

 

No, I completely agree. And it doesn't make sense. The only theory I can come up with is that covid and/or the strikes really fucked everyone up and caused some shitty deals that's forcing them to hit digital so fast. That's just a dumb ass high guy guessing though. lol

I love that they made Leon Kennedy a total himbo in Welcome To Raccoon City, that whole scene with the flaming zombie set to Jennifer Paige’s Crush is just genius.

It’s just this. Not sure if there’s a better place but I’ve been using it for years and it’s almost always accurate. I’ll see some dates on social media that don’t show up on there right away or at all, so I again have no clue how the stuff is added, but the stuff that is added is usually right. lol

 

The RE Netflix show was good (RIP Lance Reddick) but it didn't feel like RE so you could hardly call it an adaptation. I remember the Raccoon City movie being fine.

Babygirl isn't horror but it is very good

i didn't think it was bad, it just wasn't RE. on its own it could've been a pretty good idea for a zombie series, but then they slapped an established IP onto it.
