Ordered a limited edition copy of Arrow’s Trick R’ Treat 4K release, Merry Christmas to me. Also got the LE of Demolition Man.

 

I really don’t get why Black Christmas 2019 gets shit on so much. Yeah it gets silly later on, but it’s really not that bad. It’s definitely better than 2006.

 

It’s gonna be a cult classic in the future.

I watched Krampus and Gremlins today. Merry Christmas and happy holidays, everyone!

 

Nosferatu’s cinematography was fantastic. I liked the movie but didn’t loooove it though.

 

Yeah I'm not quite on the level of loving it (yet). Need to give it another watch when it hits digital

 

I went out fully intending to see Nosferatu but after a few hours of shopping I'm feeling kinda tired and I don't think I'm up for a two hour movie. Oh well. This was one of my most anticipated this year; I guess waiting a few more days won't hurt

 

And, yeah, Eggers' films are consistently stunning, but the only one I've loved so far is The VVitch

 

Bloody Axe Wound is also in theaters this weekend.

 

I liked the first half hour or so of Nosferatu and then really fell in love with it after that point. It's likely one of my favorites of the year. Very faithful adaptation, but visually incredible and with some great performances.

 

Nosferatu was so good.

 

Consensus on Nightbitch in here? I'm considering a double-feature with Y2K tomorrow night, but I read that it was a little toothless and the trailer honestly didn't do much for me. Love the premise, though

 

I liked Nightbitch a lot. It's not really horror tho but it is really good.

 

Just saw that another crappy fairytale horror adaptation is coming to our theater. It’s a Peter Pan horror movie and I’m sure it’ll be on the same level as the Winnie the Pooh movies but the synopsis is wild:

Wendy Darling strikes out in an attempt to rescue her brother Michael from 'the clutches of the evil Peter Pan.' Along the way she meets Tinkerbell, who will be seen taking heroin, believing that it's pixie dust.

 

I think that’s actually part of the…”Poohniverse”….so, it almost definitely will.
