Trying to decide between Psycho Paul's Film Festival and Red State next. Red State leaves Prime in 10 days, and I've been meaning to rewatch.

  4. Wow, I've seen a lot of SOV but Psycho Paul's Film Festival is truly, certifiably insane

Seated for Terrifier 3 at 1 with a surprising amount of early afternoon sickos

The ER is probably busier in the evening, so you gotta plan ahead to beat the rush.

honestly the more I reflect on T3, the more I dig it. Definitely the strongest of the 3 and could be a hit

Coraline is free on Tubi and had zero ads. An all time classic really.

Okay yeah put me in the love column for Terrifier 3. Wow that was insane and fun and absurd in all of the best ways. Almost everything I did not like about the first one is really nowhere to be seen here (minus one scene towards the end but it wasn’t enough to take me out). Conversely, everything that I dug about the second one is just improved upon in 3. Lauren LaVera is a force too - she needs to be in more stuff. Will probably see this again in theaters if i can

My friend asked me to pick something scary and something fun for a girl's night tonight. What's streaming that's new and people are enjoying? I haven't watched these movies below... are they good?

First Omen is fantastic but it's... not fun haha, might bring down the mood a bit. haven't seen the second one there myself but I'd recommend Abigail for you. good scares and good fun, it's just a blast

Yeah I’d echo Rowan with Abigail. Also maybe Lisa Frankenstein?

  20. Yeah First Omen is the "best" I've seen this year but Lisa Frankenstein and Abigail are far better for girls night. Maybe Love Lies Bleeding but that's borderline body horror

Mr. Crockett is pretty by the numbers but the premise is fun enough to carry it.

I meant two movies. Something scary or something fun. We are now debating whether to go with scary or fun.

  25. Lisa Frankenstein is fun and new. Not quite as new but pretty underrated and a very good time is the aptly titled Vicious Fun

It’s What’s Inside fits the bill imo but is also pretty demanding of your full attention which may not be very fun for some

  26. Wow, I'm with @bradsonemanband , I fucking loved It's What's Inside. I think the ending is a little abrupt and ever-so-slightly unsatisfying, but the ride is so fucking fun and stylish and the performances are great so there's not much to complain about. Pretty immediately one of my favorites of the year.

    Onto Mr. Crockett.

we decided to try pumpkin carving in my house for the first time this year! I made a valiant effort to do the Halloween opening credits pumpkin and... didn't quite get there but we did pretty well for a first attempt imo. spooky season baby!
