This sounds awesome.

Probably seeing The Substance this weekend, it only has four showings at our theater so I don't expect it to stay long

 

10 years of Tusk today! Hugely underrated body-horror-comedy. Creep-O-Rama has some anniversary merch here and I desperately want one of the tie-dye tees:

Technically "And Then There Was Shawn" isn't a Halloween episode as it aired in February, but I'll let it slide.

 

I've been busy and mainly depressed (feeling a little better), so I haven't started my GORE-us yet, but will try tonight.

Mainly it's been cozy rematches from whatever is playing on Tubi once I start a movie.

 

This is what did me in last year and I know I would’ve done it again this year because I never feel better. Lmao

 

For anyone unsure about Cronenberg, might I recommend one of the following (in order of my preference):

- The Brood
- Videodrome
- Possessor
- Crash
- The Fly
- Dead Ringers
- Infinity Pool

 

Yeah, the actual Halloween episode that same season was the less good one where Jack dates DJ Tanner from Full House who is a witch named Ishtar trying to sacrifice Jack and Shawn to the devil.

That's a sentence.

 

Yeah, compared to other shows of its time BMW was lacking in good Halloween episodes. Family Matters and Home Improvement take the cake.

 

And Then There Was Shawn is one of the best episodes period imo.
