Exhuma was fantastic. It dragged a bit in parts but overall I loved it. Probably gonna be in my year end list tbh

 

Beetlejuice tonight :) the weather is 59 here and I am very much in a Fall/Halloween mood.

Random, but has anyone seen Wes Craven's Swamp Thing? I know it's not particularly good, but I've always been interested and it's on Prime.

 

It’s campy but not like great. That’s all I remember. Been a long time

Is that a movie about the DC comics character?

 

Really enjoyed Beetlejuice, even if it was a little overstuffed.

 

Just got out of Beetlejuice, it's 100° and I want to die.

Fun movie though.

I wish it was so much better than it is. Even though the effects are terrific, it feels like a B-movie on the Sci-Fi channel 20 years ago.

Really wanted to like Vamp a lot more than I did based on what I knew about it. Still a great JBB segment though

Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t hate it! It was just a bit sillier than I was ready for I guess. Also didn’t think that Keith was all that great at all as a leading man haha. The iconic Grace Jones getup and dance was absolutely killer though. Also loved Jack Klompus doing the club owner who longs for the good old days. I agreed with Joe Bob’s sentiments for the most part

 

Yeah…
It was not good. It was some weird mix of the exorcist and parts of Army of Darkness but done in a really sloppy way. They don’t really flesh out the story at all and the acting is pretty bad.

 

My comment was actually about demon disorder haha. We just posted at the same time

 

Oof! I thought you were a huge fan of Vamp haha

 

I haven’t seen it so maybe I will be! I’ll give it a watch since you didn’t hate it

 

Vamp is fun!
