Despite owning the Criterion blu-ray of Crash, I still haven't watched it lmao. Only Cronenberg I haven't seen by this point.

Watching Stopmotion tonight

 

Trying to work my way through everything on Shudder before I start individually renting movies. There is some pretty good stuff on there.

 

So the Front Room

I thought It was pretty good. I'm always down for a slow burn but it felt like nothing happened for the first 30-40 minutes. Kathryn Hunter as Solange was easily the highlight of the film. She had some hilarious moments. But yeah....just missing some things to make it great. Maybe some of you will enjoy it more than I did.

 

Stopmotion was not for me. It wasn't even really a true horror movie in a sense and more about trauma. I will say the stop motion in it is unique.

 

Yeah other reviews haven’t been very positive. I’ll wait for streaming.
