also unrelated, but Kinda of Kindness is on Hulu as of yesterday for anyone (like me) who hasn't seen it yet

 

I want to watch that but I am just not a fan of his generally and even fans of his say it’s not great.

Ahh, I remember hearing about that movie. Is it a prequel to Friday the 13th?

 

No. It’s a slasher based on the view of the killer.

 

Ahhh ok. But it is clearly Jason. The mother reference in the trailer and the lake especially.

 

It certainly pays respect and homages F13 but it’s not connected in any way
